The Conwy Valley line
Y lein Dyffryn Conwy

The Northern Belle, 7th September 2004.

This luxury excursion ran from Liverpool Lime Street to Blaenau Ffestiniog using the Northern Belle trainset.  At Blaenau the passengers joined a special Ffestiniog Railway service to Porthmadog followed by a coach tour of North Wales.   Meanwhile the Northern Belle ran empty to Holyhead and then Llanfair P.G. where the passengers rejoined.  Here are a selection of photographs of its journey along the Conwy Valley line.
