I set aside January 2013 to add lights to the buildings and also platform and yard lights where necessary. There are now 45 individual lights plus the 12 in the semaphore signals. Illumination is provided by grain of wheat bulbs and the inexpensive lights now available from China. Power is supplied from a 2½ amps 12v DC transformer. One minor niggle is that the windmill only turns on AC so this needed a separate supply. There are also 4 bulbs behind the layout so that the traverser can be moved and aligned 'at night'. Below are a selection of views of the effect so far achieved.
