During August and September of 2007 the Merseyrail electric fleet suffered problems with excessive wheel wear.  This meant several units had to travel to Crewe for attention via the Borderlands line.  In this unprecedented view at Wrexham General, captured by Mark Riley on September the 3rd, 47802 is hauling 507001 and 008 to Crewe while 67013, on the left, is returning 507019 to Birkenhead North depot after it had received attention.
