Mike Williams "O" gauge kit building service

Mike's Locos - Page 4
A Model Express kit. It became a
scratchbuilding exercise as none of the castings were usable!
A Warren Shephard kit for the GWR
outside cylinder pannier tank. As this kit was a new release I
decided to write step by step notes as the build went
on. It's not an easy build but it gives you a very
distinctive model. Excellent castings and everything
fits - just take your time! Copies of my step by step
notes are available if anyone wants them, just give me a call.
If you get one of these kits, take a trip to the Severn Valley
Railway to get some photos, pipework especially.
An ex Caledonian Railway pug with
its wooden tender and spark arrestor.
Fowler 2-6-4 tank, one of the few
that came out in LMS red.
46100, Royal Scot. A Gladiator
kit. This loco is built in its present day preserved
condition. Modified tender, tank top, air pump, air brake
pipes, etc. Slater's wheels and motor and painted by
Warren Haywood. The rebuilt Scots are good looking engines and
the curved smoke deflectors really set them off.
5014, Goodrich Castle. A David
Andrews kit and a lovely build as always.
A Connoisseur kit for an LNER B12,
painted by Dennis Morley.
A DJH 'Mickey', delightful to
build.
GWR 2-8-0 tank 5239. Another David
Andrews kit.
LSWR M7 - a Finney kit and 3 6
wheel coaches by Connoisseur. All in LSWR livery and painted
by Warren Haywood.
Peco Branchlines quarry Hunslet. A
lovely little runner.
