Lliwedd - A Snowdonia copper mine

Photo Gallery Page 2

A general view as you approach the mine.  The water wheel and stone crusher are straight ahead and the adit level is higher up where the stone embankment is.

Looking from the water wheel up to the adit level.  The top of the stone chute is where the white shape (a wild goat) can be seen.

Looking along the adit level towards the stone chute.

Looking into and out of the adit.  The rock for processing would be trammed out of this adit and then sent down the stone chute for crushing.

A rusted length of tramway rail.

Probably the miners barracks.

Managers house?

Office, workshops and smithy?
